For what purpose does Alumni Global Search S.L. process user personal data?

At Alumni Global Search S.L., we process your personal data with the utmost respect and compliance with the applicable regulations on personal data protection.

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • Regarding registered candidates, we process their personal data to manage their registration in beWanted and, accordingly, the functionalities enabled for them; manage their participation in personnel selection processes created by companies and, where applicable, Talent Pool Managers, registered in beWanted; assess their employability or JobRank (beWanted's candidate ranking system based on a proprietary algorithm that weighs resumes according to the quality and quantity of information the candidate provides upon registering on the platform and evaluates their employability).
    • Likewise, if they authorize it by checking the box provided next to the registration form, we will use their personal data to send them information of interest related to beWanted and personnel selection processes that match their profile. They may withdraw this consent at any time, for which purpose, each communication we send will offer the possibility to unsubscribe from such communications.
  • Regarding registered companies, we process their personal data to manage their registration in beWanted and associated functionalities, allow the creation and management of personnel selection processes and, if they authorize it by checking the box provided next to the registration form, we will use their personal data to send them information of interest related to beWanted. They may withdraw this consent at any time, for which purpose, each communication we send will offer the possibility to unsubscribe from such communications.
  • In this regard, it is reported that to manage communications sent to both candidates and registered companies more efficiently, dynamically, and operatively, and to better control them, we use SendGrid, a platform developed by Twilio Inc. The use of this platform involves the installation by the service provider of tracking devices in these communications to monitor the opening of emails and the clicking of links contained therein, and to prepare campaign tracking reports with the information collected.
  • Manage inquiries, complaints, suggestions, claims, and requests made by interested parties and the issues arising from them by the company.
  • Manage comments made on blog posts.

We inform you that we will limit the processing of your personal data to the mentioned purposes.

How long will we keep your personal data?

Regarding registered candidates and companies, we will process their personal data until they decide to unsubscribe, which they can do in their private area. Subsequently, we will keep their personal data only for the necessary periods to comply with legal obligations.

Regarding inquiries, complaints, suggestions, or requests received through the designated form, we will process the personal data for as long as necessary to resolve and address them and, once resolved, for the time necessary to comply with legal requirements.

Regarding comments made on the blog, we will keep the data until they withdraw their consent, if applicable.

In other cases, we will process your data for the time necessary to manage your request and/or service.

What is the legal basis for processing user personal data?

Regarding registered candidates and companies, the legal basis for processing their personal data is the consent they provide upon registering in beWanted.

Regarding the processing of their personal data for sending information of interest related to beWanted and personnel selection processes, the legal basis is the consent they provide by checking the box provided next to the registration form. They may withdraw this consent at any time, for which purpose, each communication we send will offer the possibility to unsubscribe from such communications.

In cases where consent is the legal basis legitimizing the processing of personal data, they can withdraw it at any time, whenever they wish, although this will not affect the lawfulness of such processing based on the consent given before its withdrawal.

Regarding inquiries, complaints, suggestions, and requests made through the designated form, the legal basis for processing personal data is the consent they provide by contacting us through this form for the indicated purposes.

Regarding comments on the blog, the legal basis for processing their personal data is the consent they give us by filling out the form to make a comment on the posts we publish.

To which recipients will user personal data be communicated?

In accordance with the main purpose of candidate registration in beWanted, we will communicate their personal data contained in their profile to registered companies in beWanted interested in it. If the registered company belongs to a Talent Pool Manager, their personal data will also be communicated to this manager to manage the selection processes of the companies belonging to it.

In accordance with the main purpose of registration in beWanted, we will communicate the personal data of registered companies to registered candidates in beWanted interested in their offers. If they belong to a Talent Pool Manager, their personal data will also be communicated to this manager to manage the selection processes of the companies belonging to it.

In other cases, we will only disclose user personal data if we are legally obliged to do so.

Furthermore, as previously mentioned, beWanted informs that to manage communications sent more efficiently, dynamically, and operatively, and to better control them, we use SendGrid, a platform developed by Twilio Inc., a company acting as a data processor. Although located outside the European Economic Area, the international data transfer involved in its use has adequate safeguards as provided in Article 46.2 c) of the General Data Protection Regulation (standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission).

We also inform that Alumni Global Search S.L. works with various entities that provide services requiring access to personal data, these entities being data processors for Alumni Global Search S.L.

What rights do users have as data subjects?

You, as the data subject, both in your own name and through a representative – legal or voluntary – may exercise the rights of access, rectification, limitation of processing, erasure, opposition, as well as the right to data portability.

To exercise these rights, you must contact us via email at dpo@bewanted.com, indicating in the Subject \"Data Protection Rights\" or, if you prefer, by postal mail to Alumni Global Search S.L. at calle Castelló, nº 82-6º Izq. – C.P. 28006 Madrid, specifying which right you wish to exercise and sending a photocopy of your ID.

Within a maximum period of 30 days – making every effort and using all means at our disposal to reduce this period as much as possible – from the receipt of your request, you will receive a response from us.
